I really enjoy drawing naked girls. That´s why I decided to redraw “A dialogue between a Water Nymph and a Water Sprite”, by Josef Lada in 1944. I wanted to see what I have in common with the classical author, and in which ways we are different.
Josef Lada was a Czech painter and writer, best known as the illustrator of Jaroslav Hasek’s World War One novel, “The Good Soldier Svejk”, and for his paintings depicting traditional Czech occupations and fairy landscapes.
