It’s here! After five years, I managed to finish the trilogy of books for Mlada Fronta Publishing House. The book “I Want to Be an Adult” comes today and is loosely based on the award-winning “I’m Not Afraid of the Dark Anymore” (2007) and “Holidays in Heaven” (2008). Amongst other quotes on the cover: A great finale to Vhrsti’s trilogy about little Stephen in his striped pyjamas will take place in the control tower of a major airport. In spite of this, the story is for boys and girls, because the problems that the author solves in his books apply to all children. After all, what child would not want to be an adult? But do they know what it involves? What unexpected obstacles and problems await them in adulthood? And will it be ultimately better to grow up slowly?
