Po sedmi letech oblékly moje stránky Vhrsti.cz nový – i když znovu azurový – kabát. Ač původní design, za který jsme s Tomášem Hibim Matějíčkem získali titul Nejlepší český komiksový web, sloužil dlouhá léta dobře a spolehlivě, doba pokročila a žádá si své. Poprosil jsem proto o pomoc Evu Nečasovou a Martina Matějů. Výsledek vidíte sami – hýbe se to a je to celé takové interaktivnější a živější, abyste se sem často a rádi vraceli. Pro zajímavé informace, novinky a pochopitelně pro veselé obrázky!
Mgr. Petr Vrobel – Creative Director
I would like to recommend Vojta Jurík, alias VHRSTI. He worked as a graphic designer in my company, and that is why I know him well. Even though he is freelancer now, I still have the best experience with him – he is conscientious, hardworking, has super ideas, he really thinks about his work, and the most important thing is that he is dependable. And I really appreciate it. I would like to mention that his pictures are optimistic and full of humour, and that is why everybody likes to look at them :-) Thanks to these aspects, he is successful in his work, and I believe that more successes are still ahead of him. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
Jana Semelková – Book editor, proofreader, and PR manager
I met Vhrsti thanks to preparation of new edition of Borik stories by Vojtěch Steklač when I worked as an editor in chief in one publishing house. It was great co-operation – with professionals, co-operation is always great! We held a discussion together in Liberec, and I could really recommend him as well as a panellist – the children enjoyed his stories, and so did I! I read his texts as well, and they are full of original humour and an excellent overview. I have a feeling that he is good at everything he tries!
Mgr. Alena Hynková – Head of the Social Services Department of the City of Pilsen
There is no other way than to recommend Vhrsti. Our Social Services Department of the City of Pilsen has the best experience with this author – as well as in case of colour books, megapuzzles, and memory cards. His smiling, dancing characters are forever the mascots of our annual culture marathon “Seniors making fun for seniors”, and regular dance evenings for those who were born earlier. His original angels flew from his atelier on the invitation cards, posters, and memory list on the occasion of the ceremony for volunteers in social care “ANGEL 2010”. His style is unmistakable – nice, unpandering, optimistic, and playful. Children are enthusiastic about his pictures, older generations are amused too. Co-operation with Vhrsti is great: he reacts flexibly, respects the requirements and needs of his clients, including extra changes and corrections, he offers variable solutions. All of it makes for goodwill, and Vhrsti is definitely a first-rate brand on the market :-)
Miroslava Kuntzmannová – Writer of cookbooks
The name Vhrsti is as original as the pictures created by Vojta Jurík. It was an honour for me to co-operate with him. His pictures are part of my book “The Cookbook of Pilsen Ghosts” where he helps to create a “spooky” atmosphere. I write “spooky” in speech marks because his ghosts are pleasant, gentle, clean, cultivated, and you would like to chat with them. They are just the kind that children love. And because “The Cookbook of Pilsen Ghosts” is a children’s book, Vhrsti pictures are an excellent complement. Co-operation with Vojta (Vhrsti) was great. It’s not often that you can meet such understanding, helpfulness, and willingness in combination with a young and capable artist who hasn’t let fame go to his head.
JUDr. Kateřina Brejlová – Writer
Vojtěch Jurík, alias Vhrsti, as well as having indisputable artistic qualities, is a 100% dependable professional, and it’s a pleasure to co-operate with him. He is communicative, listens well, and was able to transform my idea onto paper, was able to understand my comments, through which I wanted to feel inward harmony and balance. He kept to all deadlines and agreements. Apart from this, he is a modest, sensitive, and open man, shining with inner warmth, just like his pictures.“Let’´s Rescue Joan!” was awarded the second prize in the literary competition by the Book Club, and was recommended for publishing, but because of restrictions in the publishing house, and because of the financial crisis it wasn’t published, I decided to publish it as an MP3 CD myself. I asked an acquaintance from the architecture magazine for some names. He sent me six, and from first glanc it was a clear decision. We met with Mr Jurík (Vhrsti) only once, the rest of our communication was via e-mails and telephone calls. About 400 copies of the of audiobook “Let’s Rescue Joan!” were sold without official distribution, and with a minimal promotion to date. I think that’s a success.
